WFYF Tackle Football - Fall 2024

Westosha Falcon Youth Football Tackle program is open online.  Registration will close on May 31, 2023.

Registration at the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade levels are nearly full.  We will take those that want to play and combine those grades to play at the higher grade level.  

For example, a 6th grader playing with both 6th and 7th grader players on one team at the 7th grade level.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • When does the Tackle season begin?: July 29th is the start of conditioning. Each player is required to complete 6 hours of conditioning.
  • How long is the season?: The season first game day is August 24th. Labor Day weekend is off for Tackle. We then start the following Saturday, Sept 7th. The season is 8 weeks long.
  • The Jamboree/Scrimmage is when?: The Jamboree is August 17th and it's our Official Weight In!
  • Ball Carrying Weights?: SEYFA requires an Official Weight In. The weights are 3rd grade 85, 4th grade 95, 5th grade is 115, 6th grade is 135, 7th grade is 155, 8th grade is 175.
  • What is included in the Tackle fee?: The use of a helmet, shoulder pads, football pants. Your jersey is yours to keep, it will have your last name and number on it.
  • What do I need to purchase?: A chin strap, a practice jersey (or a dads old shirt), cleats, football socks (usually black but the Head Coach may request something different. Additionally, an athletic cup.
